Welcome to Furs Upon Malaysia, a small furry convention based in Kuala Lumpur! Established in 2015, FURUM provides a platform for the local fandom to meet and simply have fun
This year, Sunny and Slappy will be going on a magical adventure filled with wonder and excitement. So dust off those wizarding hats, break out the wands and join them on their quest to Make Magic!
VENUE
FURUM welcomes you to Petaling Jaya, fondly called PJ by locals. Originally developed around 1952 as a satellite township to Kuala Lumpur, it is now a bustling metropolitan city of at least 500,000 inhabitants. PJ boasts an abundance of shopping malls, hip cafes and restaurants, leaving many shopaholics and enthusiastic foodies spoilt for choice.
Guest of Honor
This year, FURUM is proud to host Ben-ben!
The artist is an animation major who worked in advertising and in a game studio after graduation. Recently, he has produced an artbook, and aims to compile more artwork for another one. Besides digital and traditional commissions, he also dabbles in painting. Ben-ben has expressed hope to work in a studio if the opportunity arises.
While he has a Chow Chow / Labrador mix fursona, most people know him as “the guy with the red Oni mask”.

Games
Have fun with your friends as you challenge them at console and boardgames alike. Available throughout the convention, you can be sure there is always a place for you to kick back and relax.
Panels
Join us in the many panels on offer, covering topics from fursuit acting to Flash animation. Who knows, you might just be able to put something you learn here to good use.
Dealer's Den
If you need your fix of furry goods, then this is the place for you. Artbooks, shirts, commissions and more! The Den promises to be the biggest yet, so be prepared to leave with lots of loot!
